On November 25th, the 23rd Total Swiss Million-Dollar Lottery Event took place on the 7th floor of the Taipei office. Perhaps due to the allure of having three one-million-dollar grand prizes, or perhaps due to the continued excitement from several training events, this lottery event in Taipei drew partners from all around, filling the seats like a salmon migration. Some latecomers circled the venue two or three times, still unable to find a seat.
The electrifying atmosphere in Taipei was undoubtedly a scene that Dr. Wang had been eagerly anticipating since the outbreak of the pandemic in 2020. However, such a scene also had a downside, with a significantly increased number of on-site prizes, which might lead to a considerable financial hit for Dr. Wang (preliminary statistics show that 57 individuals won the ten thousand dollars on-site prize).
Following the two-day and one-night Crown President Training Camp activities, some Crown Presidents already demonstrated their team culture and the spirit of working together during the lottery event. A group of over ten partners from the Northern region, part of President Chang Su-chen's team, wore red T-shirts (coincidentally, the Crown President team from Singapore wore blue attire), showcasing the spirit of teamwork.
In fact, this enthusiastic participation wasn't unique to Taipei; through Zoom's connecting lenses, one could see that partners from Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Nantou, Kaohsiung in Taiwan, as well as Gwangju and Busan in Korea, and even from places like Quang Tri in Vietnam and the Singapore office, were all filled with partners.
November 25th also happened to be the 60th birthday of the current host of the lottery event, President Yuan Chin-wei. After the global partners sang him a birthday song, he publicly made three wishes:
First, he hoped that Total Swiss would become the world's number one company. Second, he wished that all partners could live to be 120 years old. Third, he hoped that next year, ten thousand individuals would be able to participate in the Million-Dollar Lottery.
Lawyer Li, who took the stage to witness the validation of the balls, also asked the birthday celebrant for help in selecting the ball rack, hoping to bring good luck to everyone.
Subsequently, Dr. Wang conducted the lottery. A number that was rarely seen before, ball number one, consecutively appeared four times at the beginning of the drawing, adding more dramatic tension to the process.
The first Silver Prize of 200,000 TWD was won by a partner from Singapore. However, the second to the fifth Silver Prizes all had empty numbers, accumulating a total of three 200,000 TWD prizes and one 300,000 TWD prize.
At this point, Dr. Wang decided to conduct the first one-million-dollar drawing. The result was that a partner from Korea won the one-million-dollar grand prize. This marked the second time that the Korean market had won the one-million-dollar prize.
Subsequently, the sixth Silver Prize still had an empty number, accumulating 200,000 TWD. However, the next four Silver Prizes were won by fortunate partners. One was from Malaysia, while the other three were from Taiwan. The winners in Taiwan included the brother of President Hsiang Wei-wei, a partner of the event's host, President Yuan Chin-wei, and a partner of Crown President Chiu Jui-ching, who was present in Pingtung.
Finally, there were two more one-million-dollar grand prizes. One was an empty number, while the other was won by a partner from the leadership team present at the Taipei lottery event. This marked the first time in the 23 times the Million-Dollar Lottery Event has been held that a one-million-dollar grand prize winner was born at the Taipei lottery event.
